The Senior Technical Consultant (Enterprise Deployment Engineer)
is responsible for planning and leading software deployments
of mission critical enterprise production systems in a multi-tiered
worldwide environment. Other responsibilities include: performing
impact/risk assessments for upgrades, defining and improving
the deployment toolset, cross training personnel, and maintaining
department controlled documents and SOPs. Critical to this
role is the ability to lead the design and improvement of
deployment processes. This role may require leading small
groups of co-workers on a per-project basis. The Enterprise
Deployment Engineer is also responsible for the implementation
of custom application and integration of solutions with third
party systems. The Enterprise Deployment Engineer will work
very closely with Research & Development, Professional Services,
Application Engineers, Business Development, and Technical
Support groups in delivering and supporting the custom/integrated
products.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics or equivalent
industry is a must
Five years of experience deploying software for mission critical
system with a scale of over 1000 concurrent users
Experience with MSSQL and Oracle Database Management System
- Database Administration, EAI (Enterprise Application Integration)
tools, Clustering and Network Load Balancing environment,
Web application deployment, Internet Information Services
(IIS) administration, and .NET architecture
Four years of System Administration experience in Microsoft
Networking environment
Ability to evaluate and determine the direction to be taken
to achieve end result
Task-oriented, able to finish projects, precise, and perseverant
Strong oral and written communication, organizational and
interpersonal skills
Proven leadership and the ability to handle multiple projects
and prioritize workload
Willingness to travel up to 70% when needed
MSCA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) Certification
is a plus
Experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET programming is a plus
Experience with Stress/Performance testing of Web Applications
is a plus
Experience in deployment of applications within FDA environments
is a plus
Demonstrated ability in scripting and deployment automation
is a plus
Project Management skills is a plus
